Archive data is processed when you use archive features, and local preferences are processed when you change app settings. The advertising SDK behavior that occurs when the app starts is described separately below.

When you archive a file, Rixin Archive copies it to the app's private local storage. This creates an independent archive copy that can remain available in the app if the original is later removed from the source app.

Rixin Archive does not require account registration and does not require contacts, SMS, or precise location.

The optional archive assistant may use on-device AI and ML Kit OCR to read visible text in supported images, documents, or PDFs and suggest titles, summaries, tags, dimensions, and local search text. You review the suggestions before archiving; not every file type or layout can be parsed.

For ML Kit OCR, inputs and outputs stay on your device; ML Kit does not send the file input or resulting output to Google servers. Rixin Archive also does not upload document content to Rixin Archive servers for these local AI and OCR features.

ML Kit may contact Google servers from time to time for bug fixes, updated models, and hardware compatibility information. It also sends performance and utilization metrics so Google can measure, debug, maintain, and improve the APIs and detect misuse or abuse. Because of this supporting network activity, ML Kit functionality is not guaranteed to be fully offline.

When you choose Share or Open for a file already stored in Rixin Archive, the app uses Android system intents and temporary URI permissions to provide the selected archive copy to the app you choose. The receiving app's handling of that file is governed by its own privacy policy.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK initializes when the app starts and may request an app-open ad; the app may also request banner advertising during import. The SDK automatically collects and shares IP address, product interactions including app launch, taps, and video views, diagnostic information such as app launch time, hang rate, and energy usage, and device and account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google uses these categories for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Rixin Archive does not provide your archive file contents to the advertising SDK.

Pro subscriptions are handled by Google Play Billing. Google processes purchases, subscription status, payment methods, and order information. The app reads the entitlement status needed to unlock Pro features; we do not directly collect or store bank-card or Google-account payment details.

Rixin Archive receives files handed off by other apps through Android ACTION_SEND and ACTION_SEND_MULTIPLE. A source app may label its Share or Send action differently, but Rixin Archive does not register for generic Android ACTION_VIEW or Open with requests. You can also select files from the picker inside Rixin Archive.

Network access is used for Google Play subscription checks, advertising, and the ML Kit supporting services described above, and may be used for compliance pages. These services do not change the on-device handling of ML Kit inputs and outputs described above.

Archive files and metadata remain in local storage until you delete them in the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Android may remove local archive data when you clear app data or uninstall the app.

Deleting an archived item removes the app's local archive copy and associated archive metadata, not the original file in WeChat, QQ, or another source app. Deleting a dimension removes that dimension and its values from related archive records.

Archive data is stored in app-private local storage. You can enable an optional local access password. No storage or electronic processing method is completely secure, but the app is designed to keep archive processing on the device where possible.

Rixin Archive is a productivity and office file-management tool and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us at the email above.

We may update this policy as the app changes. The updated policy will state a new effective date, and material changes will be reflected in the app listing or in-app information where appropriate.
